| "Reflection"
The rain pours down around me, Disguising the tears that run down my face. I'm so tired of feeling alone, So sick of feeling out of place.
The sky grows dark and the air cold, Like the frozen hearts of my peers. I have long ceased all efforts to belong After trying for so many years.
The sun hides behind the thick, gray fog - A perfect illustration of my heart. For all the hope has vanished from my life, And my soul is falling apart.
It seems the darkness has overcome the light, No chance of the hope only glimpsed before. My very being has not strength left to fight, As the rain falls and penetrates my core. |

| "Blue Eyes"
As small as a raindrop, But deep as the ocean. They reveal the yearning of the soul. The hope that life will get better, And the sorrow when it doesn't. The hope of love, And the misery of rejection. But always the hope remains. So too, my love for you remains. Everpresent and always waiting. |
